A familiar face. A website with his timing.
You might know Adam Growe from Cash Cab Canada. An event planner needs to know what happens when he walks into their room. We built his website around that next question.
The brief
Recognition gets attention. The work earns the booking.
Adam has a career that spans television, comedy, and live events. The website has to make that range useful to someone choosing a host.
A planner needs to see him work, understand the formats, and find the next step. Hosting a conference, performing a comedy set, and running an interactive Quiz Show call for different explanations.
We gave each role room to breathe, then connected them through one visual identity and a consistent booking path.
The design
Give the performer the stage.
Big type. Warm paper. Teal pulled from Adam’s Quiz Show identity. The design borrows from editorial pages and a broadcast rundown, with real photographs doing the heavy lifting.
The opening puts Adam himself in the frame. Further down, the page moves through hosting, comedy, and the Quiz Show as three acts. You can scan the offer or stay for the performance.
Motion supports that personality: an applause meter, opening credits, and a video selector. The same type, colour, navigation, and footer carry through the interior pages.
On mobile, the layout stacks into a readable sequence with full-width booking and video links. The presentation changes to fit the screen while keeping the content connected.
Proof before the pitch
Let people see him work.
A performer’s website needs performance. The homepage brings six clips into a single selection: theatre, comedy, corporate events, a TV pilot, Cash Cab, and a keynote.
You can play the featured Quiz Show reel on the page or follow a link to another performance clip. Dedicated pages add the context a short reel cannot carry.

A little participation
The first interaction feels like Adam.
The Room Read asks three questions about your audience, your goal, and the event risk you want to avoid. It brings a little of the Quiz Boss into the browsing experience.
After the questions, visitors can enter their name and email to reveal a result and an audience-engagement checklist. Direct booking links and contact forms give planners another way to start the conversation.

Behind the website
Built to keep working after launch.
A focused web build.
Astro and TypeScript provide the site structure. Shared components keep the header, footer, and page design consistent.
A place to publish.
Sanity manages blog and editorial content. Adam’s core marketing pages remain part of the custom site, with a consistent presentation for articles.
Keep the routes connected.
The rebuild preserves established content routes and adds page metadata, canonical URLs, structured data, and a sitemap. Those are foundations for discovery, not a promise of rankings.
The delivered work
One person. The full picture.
The result is a live website that connects Adam’s public profile, performance footage, service pages, editorial content, and booking routes. The numbers above describe what the site contains.
